Welcome
Coats of Many Colors Dachshunds is a hobby breeder of quality puppies. Because we only have a few litters a year, we picked our dams and sires carefully, so we could bring you the healthest puppies to pick from. We don't mix the long coat and smooth, so we always know what we are having.
Plus we have had several families that have decided that one of our babies wasn't enough. If you have one of our babies and want another we will take 100.00 off the price of your second baby. That works for the third and fourth also. 100.00 off the listed price.

About my doxies and myself:
Hello and welcome to my website. It has been along time getting here and we hope you enjoy it. And to all my friends and family who helped or encouraged me along the way, thank you so much. I have loved animals all of my life. From the creepy crawly ones [to this day I can still pick up a snake or scruff a mouse] all the way up to the big 4 legged ones. But my favorite are dogs and the doxie is #1. I think they have a real sense of humor. We live in my childhood country home, where our dogs have full run of the place and plenty of room for exercise. There are only a couple of planned litters a year, when there are enough people on my waiting list. I have show quality English creams, piebalds and dapples, only long haired at this time. All puppies have 2 prices, full AKC or limited with spay and neuter contract. These puppies are born in our kitchen and remain inside, under foot, until they go to their forever homes. They are handled daily, around other dogs and a couple of cats. They will be up to date on shots, worming and dew claws removed. Little nails are clipped weekly and started on teeth brushing. Each puppy goes home with a puppy pack with their own tooth brush, dog food sample, coupons, new toy and blanket that smells like their Mom. So if you think you would make a good forever home email me and we will get you on a list. Have a good day, Sandy.

Dachshunds have an intelligent expression and carry themselves proudly. They come in a variety of coats: smooth, wirehair, and longhair. Smooth coats should be shiny, sleek and uniform. Coat colors may be solid, bicolor, dapple, piebald or brindle. These dogs do best with older, considerate children. They are moderately protective and need exercise to keep fit. Standards weigh 15 to 25 lbs. and stand up to 10" at the shoulders. Miniatures weigh 9 to 10 lbs. and stand less than 10" at the shoulders.
